ZHEC has a large variety of marine and land piling machinery and
technical personnel, which give it the lead over other piling foundation
companies in the industry.
Piled Foundation Projects that ZHEC has undertaken in recent
years include the Foundation for Shatin Area 14B Phase 4, the
Piled Foundation Works for Standard Primary School at Ko Chiu
Road, Kwun Tong, and the Ma Wan Infrastructure Construction of
Tung Wan Pier - Pile Caps, Pier Deck and Seawater Intake Pumping
Station.
In the Lamma Power Station Jetty Piling Project, ZHEC drove piles
more than 30 metres below the seabed, setting a new record for
driving one of the deepest marine piles in Hong Kong. The static
load test carried out by ZHEC on a marine raking pile in Lamma
Island Pier marked the first time that such a pile test had been
conducted in Hong Kong.
The Terminal 8 Container Port Piling Project and the Lamma Island
Power Station Jetty Piling Project carried out by ZHEC represent
the highest level of marine piling capability in the Hong Kong
region, and are highly regarded by the industry.
