Job Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement and maintan a safety management system;
- Oversee all safety and health matters of the contract throughout the contract period to ensure compliance with all requirements under Particular Specification Section 27.
- Advise management on measures to improve site safety;
- Inspect the site to identity safety deficiencies and make recommendation for improvement;
- Provide safety training to site personnel;
- Conduct a site safety forum/workshop once per calendar year to maintain momentum and motivate participation of all site personnel on site safety.
- Investigate accidents that occurred and make recommendation to prevent recurrence;
- Develop and implement safety promotion program;
- Carry out internal safety audits and safety inspections;
- Prepare safety document and reports.
Job Requirement:
- Degree or above in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent;
- Minimum 10-15 years of practical experience as a Registered Safety Officer in construction industry;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in site safety management;
- Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese;
- Registered Safety Auditor will be an advantage;
- Must be familiar with and ensure compliance with Government legislation, regulations and/or codes of practice
- Candidate with less qualification / experience will be considered as Senior Safety Officer.
