The project includes the construction of a 630m seawall and the reclamation of about 1.3 hectares of land for the construction of a 700m long, 6m wide emergency vehicular access with promenade; improvement of sections of existing roads to provide open space. Formation of a 1.85-hectare site for a village-type public housing estate to accommodate 400 households; construction of a landscaped promenade in Tung Wan; improvement of existing major footpaths in the northern part of Peng Chau; and associated drainage works, sewerage works, diversion of water mains and landscaping works.
