The scope of work includes the construction of substructure, superstructure, architecture builders’ works and finishes, building services and external civil works for the EMU maintenance building, Fan Podium structure and miscellaneous small building structure. The EMU Building is 470m long, 60.4m wide, 11.2m high with reinforced concrete structure.

The Rail Depot Building plays an important role in maintaining the longevity, safety and reliability of the railway system, because the Rail Depot is a very important facility in most railway systems. The purpose is to store vehicles or perform various maintenance or repair activities on railway vehicles to ensure the vehicle operates safely.
